A Junior at Stout
I grew up in a small town called Galesville, WI. When people ask where I'm from, almost no one has heard of it, so I just say "the La Crosse area." Originally, I was going to go to UW-Madison, but I got waitlisted for 2 years and decided to spend them at Stout. Now that 2 years have passed, I realize I actually like it a lot here and decided to decline the invitation to go to Madison.
A big part of the reason I decided to stay was the fact that I got married this summer. My wife, Bailey, and I met in high school jazz band and have been dating ever since. I proposed during the summer after my freshman year, because I knew she was who I wanted to spend my life with.
Some of my interests include gaming, reading, and hiking, though that last one I am only willing to do certain times of the year.
My Goals for the School Year
- Getting an internship for the summer
- Passing all my classes
- Going hiking before snowfall
